As the title suggests, DDance-Records kicks off with a techno E.P. Delivering four tracks by various artists, our first release stays true to the more oldschool techno sound from before the minimal and electro hype.
On the A-side we first encounter
Rydel & HardWired, teaming up yet again after their first banging vinyl-release on Krach Records, Germany.
"Get Hacked" (already released on vinyl) is a 145bpm belter ideal for 3deck DJ's.
The second track is by Hungarian producer
Vesca. His track "
Rush Hour" reminds of earlier work by Liebing, but isn't quite as heavy. The main breakdown makes this track ideal for peak-time play.
For the B-side we have Slovenian producer
The Frog who usually focuses on a bit harder style, but in this case provided us with "
Submarine Party" a track with an awesome groove and a very catchy melody.
Last but definitely not least we find the Swedish
FMS. Any techno-fan should be familiar with hardware like the Roland 909, 808 or 303, and this guy has and uses it all. His track "
Stagnate" has a great flow with a dark string session accompanied by a rolling rhythm.
