In 1995, my friend told me a lot about the legendary Fast Tracker 2, and showed me some basics. Then I started to compose music on my own. First, I tried out all kinds of styles, but after a year or two I realized that Techno will be the one for me...
There was a Hungarian PC magazine called PC-X. This magazine also accepted XM-s and IT-s and publicized them on cd, and I also met a lot of new faces during scene parties...
In 1999 I started to use a program called Dreamstation. It was a promising Hungarian development with the tracker feeling and filter effects etc.
In 2000 a guy from the old PC-X scene, called Brainrain, told me about the Fruity Loops sequencer. So I tried it out with a lot of new music creation tools, like Cubase and Reason, and also Logic Audio. Finally, I decided to keep 2 programs: Fruity Loops and Logic Audio.
In 2002 at the University called GAMF, I met a lot of music-makers and it was a good chance to improve my knowledge in music creation. I also met a guy, TylerDourden. First we just made vinyl-business and then we "established" a channel for musicians on IRC, called ..zeneszerkesztes. At that time I also created a forum on the website of the Hungarian music magazine called Freee, and I met Snaper there.
On the IRC channel i met two important guys, Elektrocell (aka. Vega) and Wavetrip. These two guys helped me a lot to improve my skills and style...
In the meantime i gradually improved my skills and bulit my own home studio. It wasn't a big thing, it only contained a PC, a Doepfer Drehbank and some old Casio keypad :P, but it was good for me that time. Then later i bought a Behringer BCR2000 and an E-MU X-board 49 and a laptop, and now i also have a Roland JP8000 and a Korg Triton synth, and a Behringer ub2442fx analogue mixer.
Nowdays i also enlarge my studio with anything I can, to make music creation more convenient and exciting.
